Iron on patch Instructions
Make your clothes, bags & jackets extra cute in minutes!
What you’ll need
-
Your Lenn iron-on patch
-
A clean, dry fabric surface (cotton works best)
-
An iron (no steam!)
-
A thin cloth/parchment paper to protect the patch
HOW TO APPLY YOUR PATCH
1. Prep Your Fabric
-
Lay the item flat on a hard surface.
-
Make sure the fabric is smooth, clean and completely dry. (if you are using Terry Towelling it works well to iron the surface flat first)
-
Avoid ribbed or super-stretchy fabrics for best results.
2. Position Your Patch
-
Place the patch sticky side down exactly where you want it.
-
Cover it with a thin cloth or parchment paper.
3. Heat + Press
-
Set your iron to medium–high heat (around 150–170°C or no steam cotton setting).
-
Press firmly for 30-60 seconds without moving the iron.
4. Flip + Secure
-
Turn your item inside out.
-
Press the iron over the back of the patch area for 20 seconds to lock it in.
5. Let It Cool
-
Allow the patch to cool completely before wearing or stretching the fabric.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Wait 24 hours before washing.
-
Wash on gentle, cold cycle.
-
Avoid high heat in the dryer, tumble dry low or air dry. (please don't place your Lenn items in the dryer ;)
-
If an edge ever lifts, simply re-iron for 10 seconds.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
-
Use on smooth cotton or denim for the strongest hold.
-
For high-wear items (kids… we see you), you can add a few hand stitches around the edge for extra durability.
